Survey. Establish the route, existing utilities, access and scope boundaries.
Trench. Excavate and prepare the bedding to the design.
Ducts & entry. Lay the protective route and prepare the building entry.
Reinstatement. Inspect, backfill and hand over the agreed reinstatement.
We start with a site survey, route planning and identification of existing utilities. Design, required permissions, scope and reinstatement are agreed before work starts.
We check existing utilities and machinery access before marking the route. Excavation method, spoil handling and removal are agreed for the site. Trench dimensions follow the design and ground conditions rather than a single standard depth.
We prepare duct bedding, join sections and form building entries. We check that ducts are clear and include pull-through access and spare capacity where specified. The route is recorded before backfilling.
We agree positions, foundations, loads and cable or equipment placement. Poles, brackets and fixings are installed to the agreed design. Power, earthing and extra structures are separately scoped when needed.
Before closing the route, we inspect the installed works. Protective layers, backfill and compaction follow the specification. Reinstatement of soil, landscaping, asphalt or paving and the handover process are agreed beforehand.
A new warehouse needs a link to the office across the company site. We survey and agree the route, excavate and install protective ducts, then record, backfill and reinstate it. Fibre pulling and network setup can be included in the same project.
